You will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo and transferred to Dahshur to visit the Red Pyramid, named for the color of its stones, which was built during the reign of Pharaoh Sneferu, father of Khufu. Next, visit the Bent Pyramid, considered the first true pyramid, as all previous pyramids were step pyramids.
Continue to Saqqara to explore the Step Pyramid, the most famous structure in the Saqqara necropolis, located south of Memphis. This pyramid served as the prototype for the Pyramids of Giza and other Egyptian pyramids.
Enjoy lunch at a typical local restaurant.
The tour concludes with a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World: the Pyramid of Cheops (the Great Pyramid of King Khufu). You will also visit the other Pyramids of Giza: Khafre (the second pyramid, attributed to King Khafre, son of Khufu), and Menkaure (the third and smallest pyramid, built for King Menkaure, son of Khafre and grandson of Khufu). Additionally, you will explore the Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, as well as the Temple of the Valley, located next to the Pyramid of Khafre.
Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
