Overnight Trip from Marsa Alam: Aswan, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk & Abu Simbel
We will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam and drive you to Aswan. Upon arrival, you’ll explore some of Aswan’s most iconic landmarks:

Philae Temple: A stunning temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, located on an island in Lake Nasser. The temple’s intricate carvings and beautiful setting are sure to leave you in awe.

Unfinished Obelisk: Visit the ancient site where an obelisk was being carved from solid rock. This massive obelisk gives insight into the construction techniques of the ancient Egyptians.

Aswan High Dam: Completed in 1960, the dam is a vital piece of Egypt’s infrastructure and protects the country from annual flooding. It offers a great view over Lake Nasser.
After your exploration, enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan. In the evening, you will check into your hotel for an overnight stay in Aswan.
On the second day, we will depart early (around 4:00 AM) for a trip to Abu Simbel. Here, you will visit the two awe-inspiring temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. These temples, carved out of rock, are monumental achievements in Egyptian history and were relocated in the 1960s to avoid flooding from the High Dam.
After visiting the temples, you will have a lunch in Aswan before we drive you back to Marsa Alam, concluding your unforgettable overnight trip.
