When your plane lands in Cairo, our tour manager will be there with a sign that says your name and take you to your hotel.
In the morning, a guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to begin your amazing Egypt tour, which includes the following highlights:
Giza Pyramids
The Pyramids of Giza are the only remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and are among the most famous structures globally. The three primary pyramids here are the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure.
Queen’s Pyramids
These smaller, secondary pyramids were built for the queens and royal family members, along with nearby labor villages, temples, and tombs that offer a glimpse into ancient life.
Great Sphinx of Giza
The Great Sphinx, the largest statue in Egypt, is carved from the limestone of the Giza plateau. It depicts a reclining lion with a human head, adorned with the iconic nemes headcloth. Originally painted red ocher and with a beard, the Sphinx has weathered over the centuries.
Egyptian Museum of Antiquities
Next, visit the Egyptian Museum, home to an incredible collection of artifacts from ancient Egypt. The museum showcases over 5,000 years of Egyptian art, including the world-renowned treasures of Tutankhamun, his furniture, and jewelry, which remained hidden in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered by Howard Carter in 1922.
Lunch
Take a break to enjoy a delicious Egyptian meal at a local restaurant (drinks not included).
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Afterward, head to the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s vibrant and bustling market. Here, you'll find a variety of goods, from local handicrafts to spices, jewelry, and souvenirs. It's an authentic part of Cairo’s culture and an excellent place to shop and explore.
Return to Hotel
After an enriching day of sightseeing, you'll be driven back to your hotel.
This is a private tour where we will pick you up and transfer you to Alexandria, located three hours from Cairo. Alexandria, founded by Alexander the Great in the 4th century BC, is the second most important city in Egypt and was once a major cultural and commercial hub in antiquity.
Upon arrival in Alexandria in the morning, your tour will begin with a visit to:
Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa
The catacombs, dating back to the Roman period, consist of three levels and feature fascinating artwork blending Egyptian and Roman styles.
Pompey’s Column
Pompey's Column, a 25-meter-high granite column, was erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian, who liberated the city and provided aid to its starving citizens.
Alexandria Library
Next, we’ll visit the new Library of Alexandria, a modern architectural marvel inspired by the god Amun-Ra and the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. The library houses several libraries, a planetarium, three museums, a laboratory, and a printing press.
Note: The library is closed on Fridays and Saturdays, and will only be visible from the outside on those days.
Abu al-Abbas Mosque
We will also pass by the stunning Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque, a beautiful structure built between 1929-1945. It combines traditional architectural styles, drawing influence from the ancient Egyptian buildings in Cairo.
Lunch
After the mosque visit, we’ll stop for lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean, offering a variety of traditional Egyptian dishes, including meat, rice, and salads (drinks not included).
Qaitbay Citadel
Next, we will view the Citadel of Qaitbay from the outside. This defensive fortress, built in 1480 by Sultan Qaitbay, stands on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.
After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo.
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll be transferred by private, air-conditioned car to Cairo International Airport, where you will catch a domestic flight to Luxor.
Once in Luxor, your guide will accompany you to visit:
Karnak Temple
Karnak Temple is the largest temple complex in the world, with ruins that date back to the 21st century BC, along with many other monuments from as late as the 7th century AD. This temple spans nearly 3,000 years of history in one place.
Luxor Temple
Luxor Temple, originally built by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II, is unique as it combines Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, and Islamic monuments in one location.
Afterward, you will be transferred by private, air-conditioned vehicle from Luxor to Aswan.
At the end of the trip, you’ll be returned to your hotel.
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll be driven to the West Bank to explore:
Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings is home to the tombs of many pharaohs, carved into the desert rock. These tombs are richly decorated and filled with treasures meant for the pharaohs' afterlife. You will visit three of these tombs during your tour.
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Next, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. This stunning temple, dedicated to Egypt’s only female pharaoh, rises from the desert floor in a series of terraces, seamlessly blending into the limestone cliffs surrounding it.
Colossi of Memnon
