This temple is unique as it combines Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, and Islamic elements, showcasing the long history of the city. After the tour, you will return to your cruise ship for a relaxing rest and enjoy the rest of your journey.
In the morning, your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your Nile cruise in a private, air-conditioned car to begin your exciting exploration of Luxor.
Valley of the Kings
Your first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs were discovered. These tombs are carved into the desert cliffs and are adorned with stunning decorations and treasures meant for the pharaohs' afterlife. You will have the opportunity to visit 3 of these ancient tombs, each a masterpiece of Egyptian funerary art.
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Next, you will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. This striking temple, dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh, is set against a backdrop of towering limestone cliffs. The temple rises in a series of terraces, blending seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, and is an architectural marvel of ancient Egypt.
Colossi of Memnon
You will then continue to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues were built to guard his mortuary temple and stand as a testament to his reign. The statues are an iconic sight in Luxor and are famous for their grandeur.
After your tour, you will return to your Nile cruise. Enjoy dinner on board and spend the night as you continue your journey along the Nile River.
In the morning, your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up from your Nile cruise to begin your exploration of two incredible ancient sites.
Kom Ombo Temple
Your first stop will be the Temple of Kom Ombo, located on the banks of the Nile. This unique temple is the only double temple in ancient Egypt, dedicated to two gods: Horus, the falcon-headed god, and Sobek, the crocodile-headed god. Sobek was an important deity associated with the Nile and, according to some legends, was the creator of the world. The temple is of great historical significance as it served as one of the most important sanctuaries dedicated to Sobek during the Pharaonic era.
Edfu Temple
Next, you will visit the impressive Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to the god Horus, this temple is considered the most significant after the Karnak Temple. The temple’s magnificent architecture and intricate reliefs offer a fascinating glimpse into Egypt’s religious practices.
After completing your visit, you will continue your journey with your Egyptologist tour guide, heading to Aswan for your Nile cruise. Enjoy a delicious dinner on board and spend the night as you sail along the Nile River, continuing your exploration of Egypt's wonders.

Unfinished Obelisk
Next, you'll visit the Unfinished Obelisk, located in the ancient red granite quarry. This obelisk, from the time of Queen Hatshepsut, was intended to be the largest in Egypt, measuring 42 meters in height and weighing 1,200 tons. However, it was abandoned due to a crack, and its incomplete state offers valuable insight into ancient Egyptian quarrying techniques.
Philae Temple
Then, you'll head to the beautiful Philae Temple, located on an island between the old and new Aswan Dams. This stunning temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis and is a significant site in Egyptian mythology, especially in the story of Isis, Osiris, and Horus.
