In the morning, a tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in a private, air-conditioned car to begin your exciting tour of Egypt. Your day will include visits to the following iconic sites:
Giza Pyramids
The Pyramids of Giza are the only remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, making them some of the most famous structures in the world. The three main pyramids are the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure.
Queen's Pyramids
You will also visit the smaller pyramids, where the queens of the pharaohs were buried, along with nearby labor villages, temples, and tombs.
Great Sphinx of Giza
Next, you will see the Great Sphinx of Giza, a monumental statue carved from limestone. This statue depicts a lion with a human head, and it was originally painted red ochre with a chin beard, which has since eroded.
The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities
Your tour continues with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which houses a priceless collection of over 25,000 artifacts from Egypt's Pharaonic era. Highlights include treasures from Tutankhamun's tomb, discovered by Howard Carter in 1922. These treasures, which include gold furniture, jewelry, and other items, have been preserved for over 3,500 years.
Lunch
After the museum visit, we will take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy traditional Egyptian cuisine (drinks not included).
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
After lunch, your tour will take you to Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s famous market. This bustling marketplace is a must-see for both tourists and locals, offering everything from souvenirs to local crafts. It’s a great place to experience the vibrant culture of Cairo.
After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel for the evening.
In the morning, after checking out from your hotel in Cairo, you will take a short domestic flight to Aswan (approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival in Aswan, your guide will meet you to begin your tour, visiting the following:
Aswan High Dam
The Aswan Dam, completed in 1970, is a monumental structure built to control the annual flooding of the Nile River, the longest river in the world, and to generate hydroelectric power for Egypt.
Unfinished Obelisk
Your next stop will be the Unfinished Obelisk, located in a red granite quarry. This obelisk, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut, was intended to be the largest in Egypt, measuring 42 meters and weighing 1,200 tons. However, it was never completed due to cracks discovered in the stone.
Philae Temple
You will then visit the stunning Temple of Philae, located on an island in the Nile between the old and new Aswan Dams. This temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, is one of the key locations in the ancient Egyptian myth of Isis, Osiris, and Horus.
After your visits, your Egyptologist guide will take you aboard a Nile cruise for the next part of your journey.
Overnight on the Nile cruise.
In the morning, your guide will meet you at the Nile cruise to start your exciting day of exploration, visiting the following sites:
Kom Ombo Temple
Located on the banks of the Nile, Kom Ombo Temple is unique as it is the only double temple in ancient Egypt. It is dedicated to two gods: the falcon-headed Horus and the crocodile-headed Sobek. This temple is particularly significant because Sobek, the god of the Nile, was believed to be the creator of the world, making the temple one of the most important sanctuaries of the Pharaonic era.
Edfu Temple
Next, you will visit Edfu Temple, dedicated to the god Horus. Known for being one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, Edfu Temple ranks as one of the most important after Karnak. It remained buried under the sand for centuries until it was rediscovered by the French archaeologist Auguste Mariette in the 19th century.
After your visits, your Egyptologist guide will take you back to your Nile cruise for a relaxing journey to Aswan.
Dinner on board and overnight on the Nile cruise.
Optional Tour:
If you prefer, you can take a trip to the stunning Abu Simbel temples from Aswan (additional cost).
In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from your Nile cruise in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to begin your exciting tour, which includes the following destinations:
Valley of the Kings

Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Next, you'll head to the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. This impressive temple is dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's only female pharaoh. The temple rises majestically from the desert in a series of terraces, blending seamlessly with the surrounding limestone cliffs.
Colossi of Memnon
Continue to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues were built to protect the pharaoh's funerary temple and are an awe-inspiring sight.
