Giza Pyramids: Your first stop will be the world-renowned Pyramids of Giza, the only remaining wonder of the ancient world. Here, you will explore the three main pyramids: the Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and most famous; the Pyramid of Khafre; and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Learn about the incredible construction techniques that have allowed these majestic structures to stand for over 4,500 years.
Queen Pyramids: Next, you will visit the Queen’s Pyramids, smaller pyramids where the wives and daughters of the pharaohs were buried. These lesser-known structures offer a fascinating glimpse into the lives of royal women in ancient Egypt. You will also discover labor villages, temples, and tombs nearby that provide insight into daily life during the reigns of these powerful rulers.
The Great Sphinx of Giza: Next, you will marvel at the Great Sphinx, one of the most iconic statues in the world. This colossal limestone statue, with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, is believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre. The Sphinx is a symbol of strength and wisdom, and your guide will share its intriguing history and legends, including its original red ochre paint and the mysterious missing beard.
Egyptian Museum of Antiquities: Afterward, you’ll head to the Egyptian Museum, home to over 25,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Your visit will include highlights such as the Tutankhamun exhibit, which showcases the treasures of the famous pharaoh, including his stunning jewelry, golden funerary mask, and intricate furniture. Your guide will explain the fascinating history behind the artifacts, bringing Egypt’s ancient past to life.
Lunch: After an enriching morning, you’ll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Egyptian dishes (drinks are not included).
Khan El Khalili Bazaar: Finally, your tour will take you to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most famous markets in the Middle East. Wander through its narrow streets and alleys, filled with vibrant stalls selling everything from spices and perfumes to jewelry, textiles, and handcrafted souvenirs. This is the perfect place to practice your bargaining skills and take home a piece of Egypt’s vibrant culture.
After this full day of exploration, your guide will transfer you back to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on the day's experiences.
In the morning, after breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Cairo and take a short domestic flight to Aswan. The flight is about 1 hour long. Upon your arrival in Aswan, your guide will be waiting to begin your exciting day of exploration.
Aswan High Dam: Your first stop will be the Aswan High Dam, a monumental engineering project completed in 1970. The dam was built to regulate the annual flooding of the Nile River, provide water storage for irrigation, and generate hydroelectric power. It's an essential part of Egypt’s modern infrastructure.
Unfinished Obelisk: Next, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient red granite quarry. This obelisk, dating back to the reign of Queen Hatshepsut, was intended to be the largest obelisk ever created, standing at 42 meters tall and weighing around 1,200 tons. It remains unfinished because it cracked during its construction.
Philae Temple: Afterward, you’ll take a boat ride to Philae Temple, situated on an island between the old and new Aswan Dams. This temple complex is dedicated to the goddess Isis and is one of the key sites related to the ancient Egyptian myth of Isis, Osiris, and Horus. The temple’s relocation to its current location was a significant feat of engineering to protect it from the rising waters after the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
Once your visits are complete, your Egyptologist guide will take you to your hotel in Aswan for check-in. You’ll have the evening free to relax and enjoy the charm of Aswan.
Overnight in Aswan.
In the morning, after breakfast, your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan. You will travel in a private, air-conditioned car towards Luxor, where your exciting tour of some of Egypt's most iconic historical sites will begin.
Valley of the Kings
Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. Here, you will explore the tombs of several pharaohs, including the tombs of Ramses II and Tutankhamun. These tombs, carved deep into the desert rocks, are richly decorated with paintings and inscriptions depicting the pharaohs' journey to the afterlife. During your visit, you will have the chance to explore three tombs that have been preserved for centuries.
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Next, you will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, located at Deir el-Bahari. This stunning temple, built into the cliffs, was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's only female pharaoh. The temple is known for its architectural grandeur and the way it rises in terraces from the desert plain. The surrounding limestone cliffs add to the temple’s striking beauty.
Colossi of Memnon
Your final stop will be the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that once guarded the entrance to the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues, standing at over 18 meters tall, are all that remains of the once-grand temple. They were built to protect the pharaoh’s tomb and have stood in place for over 3,400 years.
After your visits, your Egyptologist guide will take you to your hotel in Luxor, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s incredible discoveries.
Overnight in Luxor.

Here, you will explore nearly 3,000 years of history, as the temple has undergone continuous construction and development over several centuries. The Great Hypostyle Hall, with its towering columns, and the Sacred Lake are just a few of the stunning features within Karnak.
Luxor Temple
Next, you will visit Luxor Temple, a majestic site that was initially built by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II. This temple is unique because it integrates Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, and Islamic elements within its architecture. It features massive statues of Ramses II and the grand Avenue of Sphinxes leading to the temple entrance, offering a fascinating glimpse into the multi-layered history of Luxor.
